Rebars, wire rod, wire mesh
Tied at a minimum of 4 points with 10 mm wire rod and 2–3 lifting loops, depending on length and size.
Profiles, beams and merchant bars
2–3 lifting loops and at least 2 steel straps, depending on length and size.
Hot rolled sheets and coils
2–3 steel straps across the width and 2–3 along the length, stored on wooden dunnage.
Galvanised, cold rolled, tinplate, electrogalvanised
Delivered in metal envelopes, packed on dunnage to the specification.
Hollow sections, tubes and pipes
Bundled at a minimum of 4 points with steel straps and lifting loops; jute cover on request.
